2nd hand in Doetinchem

On March the 8th – International Women’s Day – it is two years ago that Priscilla Sevink opened the door of her boutique. A store that sells clothes from renowned brands for the second time. They fall into the eager hands of fashionistas. 2NDTIME in Doetinchem sells second-hand clothes, which are still far too beautiful to disappear from view. And not only that, you can also find a matching shoe, bag, belt, scarf or a beautiful piece of jewelry.

Her friend Joke Meier assists Priscilla, both women have a passion for fashion and they are only too happy to share this with their customers. They enjoy seeing happy people with their new finds for an affordable price. Joke is a stylist and also runs her own company: Dress and Go. The day we are there, Joke is also present and I ask her if she wants to dress me for the occasion. Joke does not hesitate for one moment and immediately grabs Prada pants with print from the rack. A Valentino blouse, a Max Mara jacket, a Martin Margiela scarf, a Nicoli bag and a pair of Jan Jansen shoes follow these pants. I saw a dark blue blazer by Burberry that I would like to try on. My own shoes and socks from & Other Stories complete this outfit.

Ladies Night

Several times per season, the ladies organize a ‘ladies night’. They invite customers and the ladies who offer the clothes for sales in the shop. During these evenings they talk about the latest fashion trends and what to expect from a new fashion season, both in terms of style and color palette. And of course you can also check out if there’s something for sale in the shop that’s waiting for you and would love to end up in your wardrobe. The next ladies nights are on the 23rd and 30th of March 2018. I’m sure that once you’ve visited 2NDTIME for the first time, you’ll be back soon! We certainly thought it was worth the detour! I bought the pants and the blue Burberry blazer. And a very nice necklace from Natan, which I’ll show you later.
