A new way to style your jacket or coat

When I was a child I often got home from school like this on the first day of spring. When it was still too cold to go outside without a coat. Because I run al the way home, I got quite warm. So at least I lowered the top of my jacket slightly. During the last few weeks, I saw a lot of pictures taken during the various fashion weeks in New York and Paris … I think none of these women got warm by racing, so it must be a new way of styling jackets and (trench)coats.

This way of styling gives your wardrobe a new twist again, with a new silhouette. You do not even have to buy a new jacket or a new coat. It’s the new nonchalance or ‘laissez-faire’. I haven’t seen it on the streets in Haarlem, I wonder how long that will last. Funny to see how trends start….
