Jacqueline Hoiting in 'Puck en Hans", wie wat bewaart...

designers Puck&Hans

Friday the 9th of June in the Amsterdam Museum opened the exhibition Puck & Hans couture locale showing work of designers Puck Kroon (1941) and Hans Kemmink (1947). Their career began in 1967 in their own shop in The Hague. In 1971 it was time for the second shop in Rotterdam and in 1974 the first Amsterdam store was opened at the Rokin.  At the end of the nineties, they stopped designing and the shops were closed.

Jacqueline Hoiting from Groningen is one of the women who was a great fan of Puck & Hans. Jacqueline: “I bought this jacket about 40 years ago in their shop at the Rokin. At that time I lived in Amsterdam and occasionally I could afford to buy a piece of them. I still own two of their jackets from that period. This one and a black one. They are still beautiful and still fit, so occasionally I wear them.”

“This dress is by Carla Bower (Radley), I bought it years ago just like these Italian shoes by Sergio Rossi.”

“The handmade bag is by Edoardo Gianotti, stocks by Philipe Matignon. The Art Deco necklace I’ve inherited from my mother. The hat is a female Borsalino.”
