Impressive hair
Corinne Bird Peperkamp (1951) is a striking appearance. When I spotted her she reminds me of Grace Coddington (formerly creative director American Vogue). She has at least almost the same red-colored and exuberant hair. I want to photograph her for Zin magazine, for my monthly column. Corinne: “My hair style is indeed striking, I’ve always had long hair, I’m a natural red-haired girl. But nowadays it needs some colors to keep it like this. I incidentally color it myself, I use copper blond by l’Oréal, it corresponds the best with my own hair color. My matching freckles have disappeared over the years. ”
Black is favorite
“When I was 13 years old, I knew exactly what I wanted. To the annoyance of my parents, I was only 13 years old and yet very busy with clothes and makeup. From my pocket money I bought so-called ‘Beatle’ stockings in many colors. But I was not allowed to wear them at school. So at home, I pulled over a pair of brown socks over my colored ones. As soon as I was outside, next to our house, I pulled off the brown ones. If I had to buy something new I searched as long as I found exactly what I wanted. I love to wear black Black and black in combination with white. With my friends, I choose lately more often for color addition. Like this camel coat and colorful cardigan.”
I love shopping
“Whether on the Internet, in thrift stores or in stores with new clothes, I like shopping! Favorite brands are Humanoid, Malene Birger and Filippa K But I also often succeed at COS, Zara and H&M. Actually, when I was a young girl, I wanted to be a stylist or makeup artist. But at that time difficult to achieve. So it has remained a hobby, I worked as a manager at a telephony company. Now I’m retired, I’m not only concerned with clothes anymore: I help as a volunteer to re-home animals. I’m really an animal lover. This work provides many nice encounters and brings a lot of satisfaction.”
