Fall 2017

For the time being, we still enjoy the summer, but it’s so lovely to look at the colors for the coming season. For fashion colors for this fall, Pantone looked at the most seen colors during the New York Fashion Week and the London Fashion Week.

These are the colors presented during the Fashion Week in London.

New York

Below the colors of the Fashion Week in New York. The most different are the Royal lilac and the Tawny Port of New York. And the mustard yellow of London (Lemon curry) opposite the emerald green (Shaded Spruce) of New York.

What’s in my wardrobe?

Time to take a look in my own wardrobe to see what colors I have. I think it would be a good idea to add some good colors. As an accent, like my pink coat. To show the effect of a single striking color I added the coat. Just as you can see in the pictures of the bouquet of flowers. A present from friends the day I took the pictures.

Inspiration

I love to take a look at a new collection in stores. Especially this time of the year, because of the magnificent colors and fabrics for fall. So I made a small selection to inspire. Most striking colors for this fall are different shades of red, as an accent or for a whole piece of clothing. And I’ve seen many checkered fabrics, in combination with floral prints. With regard to shoes, you still see a lot of low-heeled models. I am very pleased with that. And remember, if there is no color of your choice, keep wearing the colors that you love and suit you best.
