I’m honored to be able to take pictures of this fashion icon in his home town Amsterdam.
Frans is a stylist and has worked for designers such as Fong Leng and Romeo Gigli from Italy.
He also worked as an art director for magazines such as Avenue, German Vogue and The New York Times.
Nowadays he teaches at Amsterdam Fashion Institute and writes a monthly column for Dutch Vogue.
He also has a seat on the Advisory Board of the Amsterdam Fashion Week and coaches for the MOAM collective.
Frans: “For me style is all about your own favorites, your personal view on what you like most.
My style hasn’t changed much over the years.
I bought this jacket at Tommy Page, a vintage store in Amsterdam.
