Mother’s day
A little bit in honor of Mother’s Day: Lucy Bosscher with her twins: daughter Juliette and son Léon (1997). Both flown out, so we didn’t manage to take the photos in one day. Juliette is currently living in London and is a first-year student Fashion Management at The London College of Fashion. Needless to say, she, like her mother, is also very interested in fashion. This photo I made in Antwerp, where mom and daughter have been shopping together. Léon studies Mechanical Engineering in Delft.
Inspiration
Léon: “Around the age of 16, I got more interest in clothes. For inspiration, I look at my mother and sister. I’m a fan of Margiela and Raf Simons but Dries van Noten is my favorite designer. So if we’re together in Antwerp, we always going to take a look at his shop. We do not shop together very often, just for a big purchase, I ask my mother’s advice. A friend of mine studies also mechanical engineering in Delft and is interested in fashion as well. Together with him, I painted my pants.”
