One of my favorite shops in Paris is Merci, Boulevard Beaumarchais/Marais.
It is a concept store selling clothes for women and men, they also have their own brand
(also online available).
Besides clothes you’ll find jewelry, shoes, furniture and decoration.
I love their presentation inside as you can see in the little video I made of their
new cushions:
Besides the entrance of the store you’ll find the Merci restaurant, where you
can have for example an excellent lunch. Inside the shop there are two
opportunities where you can have a drink: in the ‘Library’ and downstairs in
the basement, with a view at their garden.
So whenever you are in Paris, visit Merci!
Odile de Changy, 6 Rue du Pont aux Choux, nearby Merci. Lovely underwear.
Pring Paris, 8 Rue du Pont aux Choux, clothes and shoes
Hircus, 7 Rue Commines beautiful basics
Muji In Paris you’ll find several Muji shops. I love them because of their basic and minimalistic style.
The most important couturiers do have their own shops in Paris.
If you want to see a lot of exclusive brands in one shop I can recommend Bon Marché,
24 Rue de Sèvres. Clothes, shoes, bags, beauty products, lingerie..
To enjoy all this you’ll need a couple of hours.
There’s also a nice restaurant to have tea or lunch.
Typical Parisian hat shop: Marie Mercié, 23 Rue Saint-Sulpice.
Flo de Paris 8 rue Monsieur le Prince, a small boutique with fine jewelry and presents
Unfortunately they don’t have a website, but you’ll find them on Facebook
To enjoy an ‘apéritief’ I can recommend the terrace of Marly, Cour Napoléon.
With a view on museum ‘Louvre’ and his visitors.
A real good and original Italian pizza is Iovine’s
the place to be. Nearby the ‘Louvre’,7 Rue du Colonel Driant.
The last times I visited Paris I stayed in hotel Gare du Nord Suède.
It’s situated nearby station Gare du Nord.
(Easy to leave your suitcase behind when you arrive and pick up when you travel by train).
The rooms are small, (they are in ‘tout’ Paris), but clean with a fitting bathroom.
Metro station round the corner, but it’s also easy to walk to the centre.
