Vintage at the Amstel Hotel
The entire ground floor of the Amstel Hotel flooded last Saturday full of vintage and design enthusiasts. Both individuals with a nice collection of vintage as (web)shops offered their wares to. Bags (many Chanel), shoes, jewelry (expensive and cheap), clothing. Lovely to browse between, with the idea to score something very beautiful.
Cora (1947) and Wim (1945) from Utrecht. they are both lovers of beautiful clothes but they didn’t buy anything. Cora: “The last few years, I don’t buy that much, because we both already have a lot of clothes. Only when I see something that is really nice and special. But it is still fun to browse here and in vintage shops like Tamago. Because you never know….”
Two redhead friends: Corinne Vogel-Peperkamp (left) from Rotterdam and Mary-Elsbeth Nieuwendijk from Enschede. Both love (vintage) clothes. They live far apart, so this event is also a great opportunity to meet again.
Mary-Elsbeth has a very nice bag. It’s handmade by Dcember, a new Belgian brand.
Last but not least swag friends Lenny Moeskops and Anne-Marie van Parreren. Both vintage lovers, today the bought only some jewelry by Otazu, I think they’re very happy with it.
I shopped myself as well together with a friend of mine. She bought a coat, a tunic, and a sweater. I bought a special black dress by Maison Margiela. I’ll show it to you soon on my blog.
In Spring there will be another Designer Vintage Sale. I will announce it on my blog.
