Monique: “Besides my work I study photography.
I don’t have a style icon, I make my own choices.
I love dresses by Diane von Furstenberg and clothes by Dries van Noten.
Most of the clothes by Sonia Rykiel seem tailor made for me, because of my height.
At Salon Heleen Hulsmann I often find beautiful vintage clothing, like my
(fake)fur coat by Dries van Noten.
By the way, my car is alto a vintage one: a gold Mercedes 280SL.
I love hats and caps, especially Borsalino’s.
This one I bought in Rome. I love the green color, a good mix with the dark red.
It matches my shoes, which I already had in my collection.
I really have a large collection of shoes, I think about 200 pairs, mostly high heals.
High heals flatter every woman, unless you can’t walk on them.
