…they had their own shop in Amsterdam. Sometimes I thought Puck&Hans designed
their clothes especially for me.
I’m tall, don’t have size zero, but their clothes felt, even in my size, always ‘rock&roll’.
You can imagine I was very sad when they decided to stop, I had to find other shops.
I went looking in Antwerp, and discovered the
shop and clothes of Ann Demeulemeester and Martin Margiela.
mb-Henny-WaalwijkI’ve lived, together with my husband, in several countries as Liberia and Egypt (Cairo).

18 Years ago we moved from Rotterdam to Antwerp. Now and than I work as a stylist,
at this moment for the cook books for children, called of
Op de Groei by Sofie Dumont.

On a terrace I saw a beautiful woman with very short hair, wearing a frame like this.
She told me that the designer was Philip Hoet, an optician in Antwerp.
Philip made one for me as well!

mb-schoen-HennyIMG_7771These shoes, by Sophie d’Hoore, I bought during Sales at
Coccodrillo in Antwerp.  I think this color goes very well with black.
Coat: Ann Demeulemeester.

Recently I asked my hairdresser to change my neat ‘Bob-line’ more into ‘rock&roll’.
He was happy to do so and the result made me happy!”
